Mums ask me all kinds of questions about Buggyfit. Sometimes they have concerns before they attend a class which may be putting them off coming. Sometimes they have concerns during a class.
Here is a list of the top 6 most most frequently asked questions – hope this helps you decide to come along to a class near you!
1. WHEN CAN I START?
You can attend your first class as soon as you have had your 6 week postnatal check with your GP and they have cleared you to start exercise. Please note that if you had a C Section then you need to be 12 weeks post section.
2. DO I NEED AN ALL TERRAIN PRAM?
Absolutely not. All routes are designed to accommodate any type of buggy
3. WHAT IF MY BABY CRIES?
Well, what can I say, sometimes it doesn’t matter what you do, your baby will cry! If we are on the move and you need to tend to your baby then we will stop while you do what you need to do. If you have tried absolutely everything and your baby still cries then don’t panic, the other mums always understand and you can guarantee when one starts they all start! I do all I can to help too!
4. WHAT HAPPENS IF MY BABY NEEDS FED?
Babies are unpredictable! You can guarantee you have them in a feeding routine one week and then it goes out of the window the next! If your baby needs fed, then you feed him/her whilst the rest of the class stops and exercises!
5. WHAT HAPPENS IF IT’S RAINING?

6. WHAT IF I CAN’T KEEP UP?
Buggyfit is a low intensity post-natal exercise class. For this reason, there is no running just walking, sometimes fast I must admit! However, every exercise in every class is adapted to suit your individual needs. If anyone in the class really wants to stride out and power walk then they can do that, they just have to double back to meet the rest of the class.
