Terms & Conditions

I know that Terms and Conditions can be heavy reading so I’ve tried to make it a little easier for you to navigate!

To save you reading through too many pages of text, I have broken down the terms and conditions into the services provided. Please just click on the session you are attending to read more.

Holistic Core Restore

 

FEE CHARGING POLICY

Fees can be paid upfront or by monthly instalments as agreed at the time of booking.  

All payments are due in advance.

Block bookings are to be used in consecutive weeks from the agreed start date unless otherwise agreed.

The Client understands that it is their responsibility to ensure that the dates and times booked are correct. To cancel a booked session, the Client must notify Jen Wilson Fitness either in person or by phone, text or email.

 

REFUND POLICY 

Once purchased, your sessions are non-refundable regardless of client circumstances. 

Refunds will not be given due to temporary illness, injury or non-participation for personal training sessions.

Any unused sessions due to long term absences due to serious injury or illness will be dealt with on a case-by-case basis at the discretion of the trainer and can be postponed for up to 3 months, or transferred to another suitable person. 

In the unlikely event that your Trainer is unable to continue your training, for any reason, you can request a full refund from your Trainer for any unfulfilled Sessions.

 

CANCELLATION POLICY
The Client understands that it is their responsibility to ensure that the dates and times booked are correct. To cancel a booked session, the Client must notify Jen Wilson Fitness either in person or by phone, text or email.

You are required to give 24 hours’ notice if you need to reschedule a session.

Payment will be due for sessions cancelled with less than 24 hours’ notice.

In the event of cancellation by Jen Wilson Fitness,  Jen Wilson Fitness is responsible for notifying the Client of any such cancellation / amended time. There will be no charge/loss of session.

HEALTH SCREENING
It is essential that the Holistic Core Restore Pre Screen is completed before commencing any of the Holistic Core Restore ® Programmes. A link to this will be sent in your booking confirmation email. YOU WILL NOT BE ABLE TO COMMENCE ANY OF THE PROGRAMMES IF THE FORM HAS NOT BEEN SUBMITTED.

The trainer may request a letter of ‘medical clearance’ from your GP depending on your health status. (Please be aware that your GP may charge for providing this letter). If the Trainer requires further medical information from a practitioner, you must provide such details.

The trainer may seek to liaise with any other medical or therapeutic professional who is treating or advising you in order to ensure that a safe and holistic programme is created for you.

The trainer cannot be held liable in any way for undeclared or unknown medical conditions.

The client understands and agrees that it is their responsibility to inform the Trainer of any conditions or changes to their health, now and ongoing, which might affect your ability to exercise safely with minimal risk of injury. Your Trainer cannot be held liable in any way for undeclared or unknown medical conditions.

PRE COURSE ASSESSMENT
Before commencing the programme, you will meet with Jen Wilson Fitness, via Zoom, for a private 1-2-1 consultation. This will take place prior to the programme/course start date. Please follow the link in your booking confirmation to book your preferred time slot for the 1-2-1 private consultation.​


PROGRAMME EXPECTATIONS
Your session fees include the weekly one-hour training session, programmes to follow at home between sessions, access to the private members area and ongoing support from me.

Jen Wilson Fitness will:

Use their skills and knowledge and guide you through the programme.

Provide the coaching, supervision, advice and support that the Client may need to help achieve their goals

Monitor the Client’s progress at regular intervals, revise the programme and make any necessary adjustments to the programme.


The Client will:

Ensure that they arrive 5 minutes prior to a training session so that a full session can be achieved.

Ensure that they are wearing appropriate clothing and footwear. Clothes should be non-restrictive. Footwear should be comfortable and provide adequate support and you should be prepared to train barefoot or in socks where appropriate.

Ensure that they complete their homework between sessions and work hard towards implementing the recommended changes to lifestyle and nutrition to enable them to get the best results from the programme.


LATE ARRIVAL
Jen Wilson Fitness will wait for a maximum of 15 minutes past the agreed start time. If the client arrives within these 15 minutes the time will be deducted from their session. If the client doesn’t arrive within 15 minutes of the agreed start time, then the client will forfeit that session and no replacement session or refund will be provided for that session.

If Jen Wilson Fitness is late for a session, this time will be made up at a mutually convenient time, but not necessarily during that specific session.

ARRIVING AT THE STUDIO
On street parking is available.

Access to the property is only available (when facing the property) either directly in front across the shillied parking area or from the right hand side. Please do not walk across or park on the driveway of 1 Grecian Terrace (the attached property to the left)

If your appointment is in the morning or evening then please don’t knock at the door, I will open the door to let you in (combination of husband coming off night shift and little one being in bed in the evenings!)


HEALTH & SAFETY
Your Trainer has completed and holds a current certificate for Emergency First Aid at Work in accordance with the Health and Safety (First Aid) Regulations 1981.

Your Trainer has £6 million public liability insurance cover

If your Trainer conducts the Sessions on your premises you are responsible for providing a safe exercise environment.

Should the sessions take place online via zoom, facetime or whatsapp video call it is your responsibility to ensure that your training environment is safe and free from hazards (i.e children, pets any other objects). Jen Wilson Fitness will not be held responsible for any accidents occurring due to an unsafe exercise environment during an online session.

EXCLUSIVITY OF SERVICE
Any services or content that you receive are intended exclusively for you alone. You do not have permission to reproduce the content or share it with any other persons who have not paid to receive the services or content directly from Women into Wellness.

GENERAL
The Trainer has the right to change these Terms and Conditions at any time when necessary e.g. to offer new services or make changes as required by governing authorities or laws. It is your responsibility to keep up-to-date with the current terms & conditions. 

You are responsible for keeping your contact information and marketing preferences up to date with the Trainer. The Trainer will comply with the Data Protection Act 1998, pertaining to any personal or sensitive information held about you.

You will be asked at the time of your booking if you consent to being filmed for marketing and promotional purposes.  Should you consent to being included in any material used in commercial distribution, you do so without payment or copyright.

 

Mama Reboot

PROGRAMME EXPECTATIONS

Sessions will last for one hour, unless otherwise agreed.

Ideally Personal training sessions will be held on the same day and time slot each week.

Advice can be given on nutrition with regards to what changes you can make to improve your diet, however, meal plans are not a service that is provided.

Jen Wilson Fitness does not promote diets and believes that changing eating patterns should be done in way that can be maintained as a healthy lifestyle.

It is understood between you and your Trainer that both must commit to your training programme 100% and engage in an open and honest dialogue to review your progress in order for you to achieve results.

You understand that the results of any fitness programme cannot be guaranteed. Your progress depends on your effort and co-operation in and outside of the sessions. In particular, you acknowledge that individual results may vary and no particular result is guaranteed by your Trainer.

Time during the one-to-one training sessions will also be allocated to carrying out any health and fitness tests which will be done at the start of the programme and at agreed intervals throughout your programme.

Jen Wilson Fitness will:

Use their skills and knowledge to design a safe programme of exercise that will take into account your lifestyle, personal goals, fitness levels, medical history, life stage, preferences and any special conditions

Provide the programming, coaching, supervision, education, advice, motivation, support and inspiration that you will require to achieve your goals and will be completely honest if goals are unattainable.

Monitor the Client’s progress at regular intervals, revise the programme and make any necessary adjustments to the programme.

The Client will:

CLIENT SAFETY
You understand that there are inherent risks in participating in a programme of exercise. If you sustain or claim to sustain any injury while participating in training, you acknowledge that the Trainer is not responsible, except where the injury was caused by his/her gross negligence or intentional act.

During your exercise program, every effort will be made to ensure your safety. However, as with any exercise program, there are risks.  In volunteering for this program, you agree to assume responsibility for these risks and waive any possibility for personal damage.

You also agree that, to your knowledge, you have no limiting physical conditions or disability that would preclude an exercise program

HEALTH SCREENING

  • The trainer will initiate comprehensive information gathering and Health Screening prior to commencing sessions: all clients must complete a PAR-Q and other relevant screening forms to provide a thorough screening before commencing any exercise programme. All Client information will be kept strictly private and confidential.
  • The trainer may request a letter of ‘medical clearance’ from your GP depending on your health status. (Please be aware that your GP may charge for providing this letter). If the Trainer requires further medical information from a practitioner, you must provide such details.
  • The trainer may seek to liaise with any other medical or therapeutic professional who is treating or advising you in order to ensure that a safe and holistic programme is created for you.
  • The trainer cannot be held liable in any way for undeclared or unknown medical conditions.
  • The client is required to complete a Physical Activity Readiness Questionnaire (a “PARQ”) and all other screening forms sent to you by the Trainer before undertaking your first session.
  • The client understands and agrees that it is their responsibility to inform the Trainer of any conditions or changes to their health, now and ongoing, which might affect your ability to exercise safely with minimal risk of injury. Your Trainer cannot be held liable in any way for undeclared or unknown medical conditions.

FEE CHARGING POLICY
All payments are to be made in advance. You have the option of paying the full amount by the agreed monthly instalments discussed at the time of booking.

The programme runs consecutively for 8 weeks unless otherwise agreed.

The Client understands that it is their responsibility to ensure that the dates and times booked are correct. To cancel a booked session, the Client must notify Jen Wilson Fitness either in person or by phone, text or email.

 

CANCELLATION & REFUND POLICY

  • You are required to give 24 hours’ notice if you need to reschedule a session.

  • Personal Training session cancellations need to be made at least 24hrs in advance of your session. The session can then be rescheduled. Cancellations made less than 24hrs in advance will be forfeit and the session will not be rescheduled.

Personal training session packages cannot be refunded but can be transferred to another person if you are no longer able to attend your sessions. The replacement participant will need to complete and submit an online PAR Q Screening form 24hrs before the session begins. If an online form is not submitted then they will not be permitted to attend in your place, this is to ensure that appropriate screening and safety protocol is followed 

 You can rearrange a session once during the 8 week programme.

Postnatal Consultation

PAYMENT

All payments are to be made in advance at the time of booking.

All payments are non-transferable and non-refundable.

CANCELLATION

Jen Wilson Fitness does not offer refunds for any missed appointments.

24 hours notice is required for the appointment date and time to be rearranged. Failure to give the required notice will result in the appointment being cancelled and no refunds will be provided.

In the event of a cancellation by Jen Wilson Fitness due to sickness or any other reason out of Jen Wilson Fitness Control a replacement session will be provided.

HEALTH SCREENING

It is essential the Health Screening Forms are completed before you attend your appointment. A link to these will be sent in your confirmation email. Unfortunately, if these forms are not completed prior to the appointment, you will not be able to attend.

Outdoor Classes

Payment

All payments are to be made in advance at the time of booking.

Taster sessions, if available, are to be booked and paid for in advance and are non-refundable.

All payments are non-transferable and non-refundable.

All prices are subject to change, prior notice will be given.


Refunds / Cancellations

Jen Wilson Fitness does not offer refunds for any missed sessions.

If you are unable to attend a session at any time during the term, then you will forfeit that session and no refunds will be given.

In the event of a class cancellation due to instructor sickness or any other reason out of Jen Wilson Fitness Control a replacement session will be added on a date decided by Jen Wilson Fitness.

Should a class need to be cancelled due to bad weather conditions (strong winds, ice and snow) then the session will be delivered virtually, via zoom, on the same day and time as the class.


Health Screening Forms

It is essential that both Health Screening Forms are completed before you attend your first session. A link to these will be sent in your confirmation email. If you turn up to class without completing these forms you will be unable to join in the session.

Outdoor Fitness for Mums Only: As part of the screening process you will meet with Jen Wilson Fitness, via Zoom, for a private 1-2-1 consultation to discuss your screening forms and check for Diastasis Recti.  This will take place prior to you attending your first session. Please follow the link in your booking confirmation to book your preferred time slot for the 1-2-1 private consultation.​

 

Late Arrival

Outdoor Fitness for Mums Only: Unfortunately, Jen Wilson Fitness will not be able to wait for anyone who is running late. Please ensure you arrive in plenty of time to get yourself and baby ready to set off at the specified time.

Any services or content that you receive are intended exclusively for you alone. You do not have permission to reproduce the content or share it with any other persons who have not paid to receive the services or content directly from Women into Wellness.


GENERAL
The Trainer has the right to change these Terms and Conditions at any time when necessary e.g. to offer new services or make changes as required by governing authorities or laws. It is your responsibility to keep up-to-date with the current terms & conditions. 

You are responsible for keeping your contact information and marketing preferences up to date with the Trainer. The Trainer will comply with the Data Protection Act 1998, pertaining to any personal or sensitive information held about you.

You will be asked at the time of your booking if you consent to being filmed for marketing and promotional purposes.  Should you consent to being included in any material used in commercial distribution, you do so without payment or copyright.

Whinlatter Walk & Talk

Booking

Although the walk is free to attend, you are required to book your place. This will enable Jen Wilson Fitness to manage numbers and be able to communicate with participants should a walk need to be cancelled.

Spaces are limited so if you can’t make it, you need to let Jen Wilson Fitness know so that your place can offered to someone else. 

 

Expectations

Jen Wilson Fitness will plan a safe walking route through the forest. This may be the same route each week or it may change.

You will ensure that you arrive 10 minutes prior to the start time of the walk so that we can leave at the specified time.

You will ensure that you are wearing appropriate clothing and footwear and that you have a rain cover for your buggy.

Late Arrival

Unfortunately, Jen Wilson Fitness will not be able to wait for anyone who is running late. Please ensure you arrive in plenty of time to get yourself and baby ready to set off at the specified time.

Client Safety

During the walk, every effort will be made to ensure your safety. However, there may be some risks.  In volunteering for this walk, you agree to assume responsibility for these risks and waive any possibility for personal damage.

You also agree that, to your knowledge, you have no limiting physical conditions or disability that would preclude you from the walk.
